Cottleville approves development of county prescription drug monitoring program

Cottleville has joined St. Peters in supporting St. Charles County’s effort to develop a prescription drug monitoring [PDMP] program and urging the Missouri General Assembly to adopt a similar program statewide. The city’s Board of Aldermen approved a resolution in support of the county PDMP at its Oct. 19 meeting. The resolution is similar to resolution the St. Peters Board of Aldermen adopted on Sept. 22.  St. Peters officials also agreed to send a copy of the resolution to the county’s 16 municipalities urging them to adopt similar resolutions. St. Peters resolution backs county PDMP, calls on state to do more

The St. Peters Board of Aldermen has passed a resolution supporting the St. Charles County’s efforts to set up a prescription drug monitoring program [PDMP] and urging the Missouri General Assembly to do the same statewide. The board voted 7-0 with Alderman Rocky Reitmeyer [Ward 1] was absent at its Sept. 22 meeting.
