Ackermann’s Swim Program has been dedicated to the growth and development of children in Kirkwood since 1949. Group swim lessons are available for children ages 4 to 11 in four heated pools of different water levels, up to 5 feet deep. Lessons are taught by Red Cross-certified teaching staff and provide children with a non-competitive, safe environment in which to build confidence and self-esteem by teaching the life skill of swimming and water safety.
