  Things had been a bit rocky for the Marquette hockey club in the past two weeks with the Mustangs dropping three of their last four games in Mid-States Club Hockey play. Area youth hockey coach charged with sexual exploitation

On Monday, Dec. 21, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Ian Mackie, 39, of the 1400 block of Whispering Creek in Ballwin, for one count of Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and one count of Attempted Possession of Child Pornography. Mackie is being held on a $250,000 cash only bond. The probable cause statement states that the defendant requested that the victim, a child under 14 years of age, send him pictures of the victim’s genitals, and that Mackie complained when he didn’t receive a viewable copy of the images. Lafayette junior guard Adam Flynn and the Lancers knew that top ten power Francis Howell would be a bruising test for them.
