Labor Day on the Frontier is from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 31 and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 1 at the Historic Daniel Boone Home, Lindenwood Park, 1868 Highway F in Defiance.
Life on the frontier was not an easy one. This Labor Day Weekend, experience various 19th century jobs with our long-time volunteers from the Ox Bow Tavern Living History Group. Discover different frontier trades and the type of labor it took to keep business going strong. Perhaps you will even be chosen for an apprentice- ship! The Labor Day on the Frontier event is FREE and activities occur throughout the day. For more information, call the park at (636) 798-2005.
