Ambrose selected to represent Team USA in World Games in Austria This summer will be an exciting and busy time for youth basketball player Katie Ambrose. She was recently selected to play on the U-14 Team USA squad at the World Games in Klagenfurt, Austria on June 23. Ambrose, a 13-year old point guard, is a St. Charles County resident and attends Bryan Middle in the Francis Howell District. “I am excited and honored to be selected to participate in the World Games,” Ambrose said. “This will be my first trip out of the country and I’m excited for the opportunity.” ...

Muehling’s penalty kick goal helps Fort Zumwalt South punch ticket into Class 3 semifinals

  Stacie Muehling is known more so for her defense most times on the soccer field. But on Saturday, it was her offense that has the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs headed to a special place next week. Fort Zumwalt West pitcher Patrick Connor flirted with danger for the first three innings against a potent Parkway North offense as the Vikings banged out nine hits early.
