Veterans Museum KIA Wall dedication deemed success

The St Charles County Veterans Museum dedicated its Killed in Action (KIA) Wall on Purple Heart Day, August 7, 2019. The event was well attended, and included reading of 109 names of St. Charles County service men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Crossings Storage Lot has been approved for a vacant tract of land along T.R. Hughes Boulevard near Hwy. 79. This will make best use of land that has multiple Ameren transmission structures and electric power lines overhead and on which Ameren has placed severe restrictions.

O’Fallon land use density reduction and density bonuses proposed

City of Ofallon

A bill has been proposed in O'Fallon to reduce the R-4 Apartment House District code maximum density to 14 units per acre instead of 20. The bill also would establish density bonuses similar to what surrounding communities already have and, in theory, keep O’Fallon competitive with those communities.
