O’Fallon council approves Streets of Caledonia rezoning

On March 14, the O’Fallon City Council gave final approval to a request by St. Louis-based developer Payne Family Homes for the rezoning of land along with an area plan for over 260 acres in order to build a new planned unit development [PUD] named the Streets of Caledonia.

Dardenne Prairie drives multiple road projects forward

At its March 20 meeting, the Dardenne Prairie Board of Aldermen approved multiple bills to move the city forward with four ongoing road projects, including adding new access to I-64 at Technology Drive, new access to Route 364 at Technology Drive and improvements to both North Hanley and Stump roads.

O’Fallon prepares for medical marijuana

The O'Fallon City Council gave a first reading to a bill that would provide a set of proposed guidelines and restrictions pertaining to medical marijuana facilities in the city limits, while also addressing matters like cultivation and product testing. A second reading of the bill is scheduled for the next council meeting on March 28.

Safety Town registration opens April 1

Registration officially opens at 8 a.m. on April 1 for O’Fallon’s popular Safety Town for kids ages 4 ½ through 6 ½. Parents and legal guardians can register children either in-person at the Renaud Center, 2650 Tri Sports Parkway, or online at ofallon.mo.us/PD/ofallon-safety-town.

O’Fallon rezoning Archdiocese land near St. Dominic High School

At its March 14 meeting, the O'Fallon City Council heard first readings of two bills [7075 and 7076] and held a public hearing related to the rezoning of Archdiocese-owned land parcels near St. Dominic High, on Elaine Drive and West Terra Lane. The bills were co-sponsored by Ward 5 councilmembers Mike Pheney and Debbie Cook.
