New O’Fallon Ward 3 councilmember sworn in

At its May 11 meeting, the O’Fallon City Council approved the appointment of Dale Kling to fill a vacancy created last month after Rick Battelle [Ward 3] resigned his seat. Kling was sworn into office following the council’s approval. He will serve a term expiring in April 2019.

Covered parking ordinance revision planned

At public hearing is planned for the Planning and Zoning Commission’s May 4 meeting. If the commission votes on the measure that evening, he said the city council could give the ordinance a first reading on May 11.
