Cuivre River Electric recently awarded $5,000 to Veterans Coffee Talk of Troy in the form of a grant to help transport local veterans on their Honor Flight journey to Washington, D.C. Nine veterans were on the most recent flight, and an additional seven local veterans will have their flights funded this spring by the grant.

They replace fire chief Rick Daly and deputy chief Rich Oney, who are retiring from their positions.
