REAL ID is coming; are you ready?

In 2005, Congress passed the REAL ID Act, which established minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards. By Oct. 1, 2020, Missouri residents who plan to access federal facilities or board federally regulated commercial aircraft will be required to have what is known as a REAL ID.

County executive nominates former judge for council seat

St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann has nominated former St. Charles County Circuit Judge Nancy Schneider to fill a seat on the County Council left vacant by council member Mike Klinghammer [District 6], who resigned on Aug. 22. A vote is expected on Schneider's nomination is expected at the Oct. 15 County Council meeting.

Remembering 9/11

The First Responders Memorial located behind O’Fallon’s City Hall, 100 North Main Street, was dedicated in 2005 as a memorial to America’s First Responders. The 17-foot monument was created from 22 tons of steel salvaged from the destruction of New York City’s World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
