Talulah’s Scents, Décor & More recently opened at 5501 St. Charles St. in Cottleville, Talulah’s offers candles, home décor, and men’s grooming items, including mustache and beard products. The store is owned by Jerrilyn Smelser, a two-time cancer survivor.

The new Westlake Ace Hardware store has opened at 915 Jungermann Road in St. Peters. In addition to traditional hardware products such as lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing and electrical supplies, the new store features departments for backyard barbecues, tools and outdoor power equipment, as well as a paint studio.

PinAddiction Golf recently opened for business at 5055 Hwy. N, Suite 206 in Saint Charles. Train or play golf year-round with simulators, an indoor driving range and a putting green. They also provide lessons with professional golf instructors.

Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa and The Pet Doctor opened their new locations in Cottleville on June 2. Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa, 5289 Hwy. N, offers boarding, grooming, training and play camp facility, staffed 24 hours a day. The Pet Doctor, 5287 Hwy. N, provides concierge veterinary care designed to provide a low-stress experience for pets. 


The St. Louis Area Diaper Bank recently added Cynthia Kirkpatrick to its board of directors. Kirkpatrick, who is an advisor at Moneta Group, will serve a three-year term. Kirkpatrick is a certified public accountant and certified financial planner. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and mass communication from Lindenwood University.

Dr. Tanner Brown has joined Genovese Dental in Cottleville. He has completed multiple courses in general dentistry, Invisalign, implants, pediatric care and more. 


The Home Builders Charitable Foundation recently presented a $15,000 donation to Frances Kern, advancement chairperson and senior resident at St. Peters Senior Citizen Corporation. The donation will be used to help renovate three senior-living apartment buildings at St. Peters Senior Village, an independent living facility which offers a homelike community of 52 apartments. HBA member company River City Drywall will assist in the renovation of the apartments. The St. Peters Senior Citizen Corporation was established in 1973 to offer fair and affordable housing for low-income senior citizens.


The Greater St. Charles Chamber of Commerce hosts its Lunch with Leaders program from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21 at Whitmoor County Club, 1100 Whitmoor Drive in Saint Charles. The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries holds its membership luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27 at Water’s Edge Banquet Center at the St. Peters Golf Club, 200 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters.
