The summer pool season in St. Peters begins Memorial Day weekend, and the city is urging residents to prepare now by purchasing an outdoor pool pass or a combination of a pool pass and a Rec-Plex membership.
Rec-Plex members receive a 50% discount on pool passes. The discount applies to both existing and new Rec-Plex members.
Outdoor pool passes provide access to The Cove at St. Peters and the Laurel Park Pool:
- The Cove features an 8,000-square-foot leisure pool with one of the widest zero-entry beaches in the county, play features such as a dumping bucket and waterslides, underwater benches and peninsula barriers for relaxation in the pool, a splash pad, a 3,200-square-foot activity/sports pool with basketball hoops, and a party pavilion for party rentals.
- The Laurel Park Pool provides a large shallow water area, a splash pad, a one-meter diving board, a large sunbathing area, two dedicated 25-meter lap lanes, and a concession stand for light snacks and soft drinks.
St. Peters residents with a Resident Privilege Card receive discount rates on St. Peters’ outdoor pools. Thanks to an agreement with the city of St. Charles, St. Peters residents also are provided low rates at St. Charles aquatic facilities, and in return, St. Charles residents receive resident rates on both St. Peters outdoor pools and Rec-Plex memberships.
