Operation Round Up grant

The Great Rivers Crisis Intervention Team Council was awarded a $2,500 Operation Round Up grant from Cuivre River Electric Cooperative to provide mental health training to police officers. The Great Rivers group has members from law enforcement agencies in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties, as well as other partner organizations. Funds to support Operation Round Up are donated by Cuivre River Electric Cooperative members in Lincoln, Pike, St. Charles and Warren counties.

O’Fallon resident Clint Biever was recently appointed as the new sales director at Challenge Unlimited, a national nonprofit headquartered in Alton, Illinois.

On Jan. 1, the Greater Saint Charles Convention & Visitors Bureau became the new operating manager of the Foundry Art Centre. Along with this transition, the Foundry has undergone staffing changes. In late December, Sean FitzGibbons joined the team as executive director. Originally from St. Louis, FitzGibbons comes to the Foundry from Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he served as director. Rounding out the team are Art & Exhibitions Coordinator Jessica Mannisi, Education & Program Coordinator Jenny Kettler, Special Events Coordinator Rachel McCalla, and Facility Coordinator David Helling.

BeLeaf Medical recently launched its female-led manufacturing brand Phytos. BeLeaf Medical is a medical cannabis company with cultivation, manufacturing and dispensing locations. Phytos’ female-led team is managed by Dr. Stephanie Cernicek, chief science officer; Dr. Jamila Owens-Todd, research and development manage; and partner Mitch Meyers


Steve and Margo Allison recently opened a new MassageLuXe location in Lake St. Louis at 6105 Ronald Reagan Drive. This is the Allisons’ sixth location since 2010. 


The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries holds its membership luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at the The Christy Banquet Center, 9000 Veteran’s Memorial Parkway in O’Fallon.
