Tommy's Car Wash

Tommy’s Express Car Wash recently opened a brand-new location at 101 O’Fallon Loop Road just off Hwy K. in O’Fallon. Tommy’s Express Car Wash uses state-of-the art technology, including water shine and proprietary soaps, for a spotless shine. An 84-inch tall wash tunnel accommodates practically any size vehicle. The BCI Skills Center, a vocational training facility for adults with disabilities, is currently accepting students for its winter programs. Three courses in hospitality and housekeeping and manufacturing are open to 17 students. Students will learn all tasks needed for success in their future jobs while also mastering various in-demand soft skills such as effective communication, time management, problem solving and more. All three courses are eight weeks in length. After graduation, students will advance directly into competitive employment. For more information, visit skillscenterstl.com.

O’Fallon resident Danielle Bayer was recently surprised with a $2,500 Nurses Appreciation Scholarship to WGU Missouri. The scholarship is designed for motivated nurses and healthcare workers who are ready to tackle the increasing challenges of today’s healthcare practice. Bayer, a staff nurse at BJC Healthcare – St. Louis Children’s Hospital, is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing – Education from WGU Missouri. 

Jordan Tabacchi


Jordan Tabacchi of Wentzville has joined Knoebel Construction as project manager. Tabacchi is responsible for managing construction of select healthcare and restaurant projects in St. Louis and nationally. Tabacchi has three years of construction experience as a project engineer on healthcare and mixed-use projects. Knoebel Construction, Inc. is a national general contractor specializing in retail center, multi-use, restaurant, grocery, healthcare and retail store construction.

Michelle and Barry Herring, owners of CMIT Solutions of St. Charles, received the esteemed “Franchisee of the Year” award at the company’s 24th annual convention. The award is given to honor those who have generated  positive track records with client satisfaction, revenue growth and number of client devices managed.  CMIT Solutions is an IT support providers for the small and mid-market business community in the United States offering a broad spectrum of proactive computer maintenance, monitoring, and virtual technology packages.

Chris Ryan

Chris Ryan, Cuivre River Electric Cooperative’s manager of member services and IT, was recently selected to serve as the president of the Mid-State 8 organization. As president, Ryan is in charge of conducting meetings, securing relevant programs and speakers, fostering communication among the eight co-ops that belong to Mid-State 8 and emceeing the annual Department of Economic Development Breakfast. 


The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries holds its membership luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at the The Christy Banquet Center, 9000 Veteran’s Memorial Parkway in O’Fallon.
