Gina Calder, MPH, FACHE, was recently named by BJC HealthCare as the new president of Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West hospitals, effective Feb. 8.
Calder comes to Missouri from Connecticut, where she has worked since 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital, a 489-bed community teaching hospital and a member of Yale New Haven Health, Connecticut’s leading health care system.
She currently serves as the hospital campus administrator and vice president of Bridgeport Hospital’s leadership team, and has held several other leadership positions during her tenure.
Calder has received a number of professional and leadership awards during her tenure at Bridgeport Hospital. She also brings a commitment to community service, and has held leading roles with many regional health services organizations. She holds a master’s degree in public health, health policy & administration and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University.
