The St. Charles County Marine Corps League Auxiliary is spearheading a Wreaths Across America initiative with the ultimate goal of sponsoring 500 wreaths to be ceremoniously laid at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis this holiday season.

Wreaths Across America is a national mission devoted to remembering, honoring and coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at over 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

From 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Dec. 16 and 17; and 8 a.m.-4:20 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Auxiliary will lay remembrance wreaths at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery,  2900 Sheridan Road in St. Louis County. Individuals are invited to sponsor wreaths and also attend the ceremonies.
