Road projects on tap for St. Peters beginning May 11

The city of St. Peters will conduct two road projects next week that will impact multiple roadways within the city.

The street department plans to remove and replace the asphalt surface on Jungermann Road from Bartley Street to Willott Road. The asphalt resurfacing project is scheduled to take place daily from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. beginning May 11. Completion is expected by May 15, weather permitting.

Drivers can expect lane closures and possible delays on Jungermann during this work. Please drive carefully through work zones.

Additionally, concrete pavement replacement on Whispering Ridge Lane will require the road to close at the intersection of Willott Drive for approximately one week. That closure also will begin on Monday, May 11. Reopening is scheduled for May 18, weather permitting.

During this closure, all Carrington Place subdivision traffic will use Carrington Drive to enter and exit at Willott. Detour signs will be posted.

The roadwork will require excavation and replacement of concrete on Whispering Ridge from Willott to Colby Lane.
