Municipalities take city business online

On April 6, Gov. Mike Parson issued a statewide stay-at-home order that is currently scheduled to remain in effect until April 24. This mandate is one of many efforts to stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has also caused scheduling changes and closures for businesses, restaurants and school districts in St. Charles County and beyond. This change also affects local government.

However, city councils and aldermanic boards across the county have taken their meetings online via livestreaming apps and conference call programs to continue city business while remaining socially distant.

Here is an alphabetical list, as of April 14, of upcoming council/oard of aldermen meetings across St. Charles County.

The Wednesday, April 15 meeting of the Cottleville Board of Aldermen has been cancelled.

Dardenne Prairie

The next Dardenne Prairie Board of Aldermen meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15 at 2023 Hanley Road in Dardenne Prairie. Some aldermen will attend the meeting via conference call, but the meeting will remain open to other members and the public. However, attendance will be limited to abide by the state’s social distancing mandates.
