Voluntary annexation of land along Bryan Road approved

The city of O’Fallon has approved 5.77 acres of land along Bryan Road for voluntary annexation.

Land owner KF Landscapes had applied for annexation of its C-2 General Business-zoned property in unincorporated St. Charles County.  The owner plans to operate a commercial landscaping contractor business there, including an office, warehouse and outdoor storage area. The property will remain zoned C-2 in O’Fallon.

The property will be served by the O’Fallon Water and Sewer District.  The property, located at 1112 Bryan Road is on the east side of Bryan, south of White Magnolia and north of Mexico Road, in between Little Guppy Child Development Center and Hillside Mobile Home Park.  Nearby, across Bryan Road, is Heaven Scent Bakery.

Bill No. 7182 to approve this voluntary annexation was sponsored by Ward 5 council members Mike Pheney and Debbie Cook.  At the April 9 City Council meeting, the bill was passed by a vote of 9-0 [with Ward 2 council member Rose Mack excused].
