St. Charles County Ambulance District [SCCAD] Deputy Chief of Operations Craig Boschert has been named to the American Ambulance Association’s [AAA] inaugural Mobile Healthcare 40 Under 40 class. The rising leaders recognized by the AAA were selected for their significant contributions to their organization, community and emergency medical services [EMS] industry. Boschert is the sole professional from Missouri to achieve the honor.
“Seeing my name among this group of talented individuals is humbling; many who were honored are driving cutting-edge initiatives within the field,” said Boschert. “I share the honor with our team of paramedics and support staff – their tireless dedication is what enables us to achieve excellence.”
Boschert began his career with SCCAD nearly two decades ago as a volunteer EMT, providing care to neighbors in the rural communities of Portage Des Sioux and Orchard Farm. He opted to turn his desire of helping others into a career, attaining his paramedic license and joining the SCCAD team full-time in 2002. He earned a promotion to battalion chief in 2008. In 2016, he was promoted to deputy chief.
