Nearly 8,500 students in the St. Louis Metro Area will celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week, Jan. 26 through Feb. 1, with service projects, special events and open houses. Additionally, some schools will hold open houses at other times in February.
Child of God Lutheran School, 650 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters, will host open houses from 8:30-10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 and from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Individual tours also can be arranged by contacting the school.
Immanuel Lutheran School, 115 S. 6th St. in St. Charles, will host a Pre-K and Kindergarten Sneek-A-Peek at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 6. Individual tours also can be arranged by contacting the school.
Messiah Lutheran School, 5911 Hwy. 94 in Weldon Spring, and Zion Lutheran School, 3866 Old Hwy. 94 South in St. Charles, will have completed their open houses; however, individual tours can be arranged by contacting the school.
Nearly 8,500 children attend 33 LESA-member Lutheran schools in St. Louis and southern Illinois, making it the second largest private school system in the bistate region.
