Salty’s Fresh Mex, a local Tex-Mex restaurant known for serving up Mexican-inspired dishes with American twists, now serves breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon.
Patrons can enjoy generous plates of traditional breakfast options like eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and more. For those craving something sweeter, the Strawberry Margarita Pancakes feature fresh strawberries with a side of bacon or sausage. Also included are specialty dishes like the Avocado Pablano Bowl, which features pico de gallo and fresh avocado. Breakfast tacos and burritos also come in a variety of flavors.
While breakfast may be the latest addition to their menu, Salty’s Fresh Mex has been serving up “fresh Mex” lunch and dinner options since husband and wife team Paul and Angie Wegeng opened the restaurant in 2016.
The word ‘fresh’ is right in the restaurant’s name, and for good reason. In addition to breakfast, the restaurant’s menu includes over 15 different tacos, nachos, fajitas and Mexican-inspired bowls all made fresh to order, as well as unique specialty plates like the Mango Habanero Chicken Taco Platter. Hearty burritos are made with ground beef, shredded beef, chicken or steak, along with cilantro lime rice and cheddar cheese – all wrapped in a flour tortilla and drizzled with house-made taco sauce.
Happy Hour is available Tuesday through Friday every week. Patrons can wash down meals with a selection of imported draft beers, coladas, daquiris and over 10 different margarita flavors.
From breakfast to Happy Hour and every meal in-between, Salty’s Fresh Mex is on standby to provide fun, flavor and flair all in one place.
