Many visitors to Clayton’s Restaurant are familiar with its steaks and seafood offerings, but dinner isn’t the only time that the restaurant dishes out house-made entrees that tempt the taste buds.
Clayton’s lunch menu is available for locals to sample Tuesday through Saturday every week from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The deal comes with fries, soup or salad. The lunch menu features an array of dishes, from burgers to two-topping pizza options.
“And these are 8 oz. burgers,” Kevin Kagel, owner of Clayton’s Restaurant, said. “The portions are generous for a lunch menu.”
Cajun Pasta, Fettucine and Cannelloni are staples on the Pasta Special menu. For those craving protein, Clayton’s serves up classics like Grilled Chicken Breast, Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Marsala during lunch, giving diners an affordable meal that feels luxurious.
“The food really is high-quality,” Kevin said. “It’s a lot of food too.”
All lunch entrees come with a beverage. At Clayton’s, this not only includes soft drinks like soda and tea, but also selected draft beers, house wines or even well drinks.
“That’s kind of our calling card,” Kevin said. “Sometimes people come in for an early dinner because they’re working later or they don’t want to go out again.”
The offerings don’t stop at lunch and dinner. Only on Sunday, hungry patrons can enjoy Clayton’s Sunday brunch, which features a breakfast buffet, omelet station, dessert bar and more. Clayton’s brunch preparations are almost all made from scratch, including the house-made bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys.
“We cook the bacon, we prepare the eggs, we make the pancakes,” Kevin said.
From sweet to savory – for breakfast, lunch or dinner – something for everyone’s pallet is on the menu at Clayton’s Restaurant.
