Gregory Patterson has been named vice president and chief operating officer for Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital and Progress West Hospital, effective Jan. 19. Patterson will oversee the day-to-day operations of both hospitals, including procedural services, imaging, radiation oncology and physician services.
“I am delighted to welcome Greg to the BJC team in St. Charles County,” said Chris Watts, the hospitals’ president. “His wealth of experience gives him a unique perspective to help us ensure we are meeting the needs of our community today and in the years to come.”
Patterson joined the BJC HealthCare system in 2008. Since 2013, he has served as vice president of facilities and support services at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in education from Saint Louis University, and holds a juris doctorate from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
