O’Fallon approves 2020 budget

The O’Fallon 2020 budget anticipates revenues of $138,715,737 and expenditures of $139,001,962, including transfers.

At the Dec. 12 City Council meeting, 2020 budget Bill No. 7143 sponsored by Mayor Bill Hennessy was given a second reading and then was approved by a vote of 10-0.

Bill No. 7144 for the 2020 Capital Improvement Program of $127.8M [reflected in the 2020 budget] was given a public hearing at the Dec. 12 council meeting, followed by a second reading and approval by a vote of 10-0.

  • Transient Guest Tax $867,000
  • Sewer Lateral Insurance $793,000
  • Community Development Block Grant [CDBG] $298,000
  • Inmate Security $45,000
  • Police Training $30,000
