For the 14th consecutive year, Francis Howell School District has been recognized with the Meritorious Budget Award [MBA] by The Association of School Business Officials International. The MBA designation is the result of an objective external evaluation of the overall management and communication of the school district’s 2019-2020 budget. To receive this distinguished honor, the district had to satisfy nationally-recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. It is bestowed only to school districts whose budgets have undergone a rigorous review by financial professionals and which have met or exceeded the program’s stringent criteria.
