Owner Raul Cortez and owner-operator William Rodriguez celebrated the grand opening of USave Cleaners at 7347 Mexico Road in St. Peters. The business operates on a one low price concept, meaning any garment is dry cleaned for the same price, with specialty items like comforters and wedding dresses priced differently. All items are dry cleaned and pressed on site and they offer same day services.

MY SALON Suite has opened its second St. Louis location at 5841 Suemandy Drive in St. Peters. The first MY SALON Suite location in the St. Louis area opened in Manchester earlier this year and another location in Creve Coeur is coming soon.

Two Chicks Vintage Market is open at 205 North Main Street in Historic Saint Charles. Owners Laura Callahan and Kim Gooding stock the store with an array of unique, vintage pieces they’ve personally unearthed or created for customers.

Blue Haven Pools, 151 N. Service Road, recently celebrated its grand opening in St. Peters. Blue Haven Pools offers a choice of any inground pool shape, size, depth and configuration.  All styles – rustic/organic, lagoon, traditional/classical, modern/contemporary – are possible, with a full spectrum of decorative and functional features ranging from tanning ledges to rock waterfall grottos.


MoDOT Director Patrick McKenna was elected to serve as its 2019-2020 president for the board of directors of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. Prior to the election, McKenna served as AASHTO’s 2018-2019 vice president. He received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Bentley College and a master of science degree in management and finance from the University of Maryland University College.

The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce & Industries recently announced Nina DeAngelo as new vice president of the chamber. DeAngelo has served as director of member engagement for the chamber for almost six years, overseeing member retention and engagement, and other committees within the organization. Prior to becoming a staff member, DeAngelo was a member of the O’Fallon Chamber and held a seat on the Board of Directors.


The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries holds its membership luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Whitmoor Country Club, 1100 Whitmoor Drive in Weldon Spring. The Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce holds its annual meeting and awards luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Whitmoor Country Club, 1100 Whitmoor Drive in Weldon Spring.  The program will recognize volunteers, incoming/outgoing board members, and Tom Muzzey will be passing the gavel to incoming chair, Susan Sommer.
