The newest Narwhal’s Crafted recently opened at 1485 Beale Street #300 in St. Charles. Narwhal’s offers a diverse menu of frozen alcoholic beverages, infusions and purees produced in-house and from scratch. There is a limited nonalcoholic menu and pup cups for dogs.

The St. Peters Golf & Banquet Center opened at 200 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters. The banquet center venue can host events like birthdays, anniversaries, charity events and more, for up to 350 guests.

A $1,000 Operation Round Up grant was recently presented to Eagle’s Wings. The funds will be used to purchase new clothing, shoes and other basic necessities for children. Through July 2019, Eagle’s Wings has provided items to over 1,000 children in St. Charles County.

Valenti’s Market, a deli and catering establishment, celebrated the grand re-opening of its newly remodeled store at 6750 Mexico Road in St. Peters on Oct. 24. Valenti’s has provided meats and Italian foods for 82 years. It has since expanded its menu to include hand-sliced café sandwiches, salads, baked goods, quality Italian wines and catering business.
Pamela Sue Struckhoff has been appointed as executive director for Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service, effective Jan. 1, 2020. Struckhoff obtained both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
Boone Center, Inc. [BCI] recently received the Workforce Talent Development award from the Missouri Association of Manufacturers [MAM] at its fifth annual Made in Missouri Leadership event. BCI was honored for its Community Employment program and its BCI Skills Center. BCI also received the MAM’s Founder’s Award, which recognizes member companies who preserve, promote and advance manufacturing initiatives.

The 9th annual Santa’s North Pole Dash & Children’s Snowman Shuffle event is seeking sponsorships. Over 2,500 participants from all over the bi-state region are slated to run in the on Saturday, Dec. 7. Proceeds directly support the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests of businesses, improves the economy and cultivates business leaders in St. Charles County. All sponsors have the opportunity to place their marketing materials inside the runner packets. Materials must be delivered to the chamber office no later than Monday, Dec. 2 and run registrations must be made by Wednesday, Nov. 20.
