Teagan O’Donnell represented the students of Francis Howell Middle at the districts October Board of Education meeting.

Principal Dr. Kirsteen James described O’Donnell, who is in eighth grade, as “a hardworking, compassionate student leader who always perseveres.”

In addition to being an Honor Roll student all three years at Francis Howell Middle, O’Donnell is also involved in a variety of activities including Drama Club and Shield Club. She also serves as a speaker at all-school assemblies and is a program mentor and leader in the school’s Where Everyone Belongs leadership program for students in grade seven and eight.

Her counselor said of O’Donnell, “Even when Teagan gets knocked down, she gets back up and overcomes.”

O’Donnell plans to attend a four-year university in the future. Her goal is to focus on a career in mental health and counseling.
