Looking for a fun and family-friendly weekend outing? What about a destination for great food, fun rides and once-in-a-lifetime concerts from renowned bands? Thanks to Celebrate St. Peters, families don’t have to choose.
The annual event returns in 2019 to offer another year of music, entertainment, carnival rides, games, food, fireworks, kids’ activities and much more! Celebrate St. Peters features dozens of vendors offering lots of yummy food and unique items for sale in the festival vendor area, which boasts 40 booths for browsing and shopping.
New to 2019, the Community News Family Area has moved this year to the Corporate Pavilion near the entrance to the 10th annual Celebrate St. Peters. The family area will feature a performance by one-man musical comedy act Babaloo at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The Home Depot Kids’ Workshop also returns for the 10th annual celebration. Parents and kids can collaborate on an array of craft projects to take home and enjoy.
Carnival games also return for both days of the festival, many of which are run or sponsored by local organizations, meaning festivalgoers can try their hand at games while benefitting good causes. Carnival rides can be enjoyed Saturday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m. From carousels to Tilt-a-Whirls, an array of rides will be available for family members of all ages on Friday and Saturday, reassuring that nobody has to sit on the sidelines.READ: What to know before you go
