With burning hot conditions expected outdoors this Friday, the Sunset Fridays ‘On the Road’ concert series is moving indoors.
Cole Blue Steel is the featured performer as the 6:30 p.m. concert moves inside the activity rooms at St. Peters City Hall, 1 St. Peters Centre Blvd. on Friday, July 19. Concert-goers can enter the venue on the west side of city hall. Seating is limited and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Small, personal coolers also are permitted, but glass containers are not.
Well known for strong guitar abilities and a wide vocal range, Cole Blue Steel will perform a combination of country and rock music.
Even though the event was moved from The Cove at St. Peters aquatic center near Rec-Plex South to inside City Hall because of the heat, patrons still can enjoy The Cove for free from 6-9 p.m. on July 19.
The remaining Sunset Fridays ‘On the Road’ concerts at The Cove are:
- July 26: The Biscuits [Rock]
- Aug. 2: Oh Brother [Rock]
- Aug. 9: Paul Bonn & The Bluesmen [Blues]
All include free admission to The Cove from 6-9 p.m. on concert evenings.
Sunset Fridays is presented in partnership with Mid Rivers Newsmagazine and K-WULF 101.7 radio.
Food and beverages will be available from the Gator Island Grill starting at 6 p.m.
