President and CEO Zachary Weikel celebrated the grand opening of his new business, Dogtopia of St. Peters on June 21.

Dogtopia of St. Peters, 6140 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, has celebrated its opening. Dogtopia provides dog daycare, boarding and spa services. They offer a structured environment and teach four-legged clients skills, including how to behave around humans and other dogs.

Cosmos Corporation, a pet product manufacturer currently located in Wentzville, will be moving to O’Fallon for their new headquarters. The new facility will house office space as well as  production and distribution services. Cosmos Corporation provides a variety of pet grooming, dental and natural flea and tick products under its TropiClean and Naturél Promise brand lines.

Déjà Vu Hookah Bar and Lounge at 88 Spencer Road in St. Peters is now open. The lounge carries a large list of hookah tobacco and CBD flavors along with house and premium Shisha. Déjà Vu Hookah Bar and Lounge also offers food and happy hour options.

St. Peters resident Drew Bartley has been named refrigeration project manager at
Murphy Company, the area’s largest mechanical contracting and engineering firm. He holds an associate’s degree in HVAC-refrigeration technology from Ranken Technical College.

David Rosenwasser, J.D. from the Robert W. Plaster School of Business & Entrepreneurship at Lindenwood University recently received a Fulbright Specialist Program award. Rosenwasser completed an assignment with the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts in creating a strategic tourism marketing plan. Formerly director of tourism in St. Charles, Rosenwasser is also an associate professor at Lindenwood University.

The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries holds its Membership Luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on July 23 at Whitmoor Country Club, 100 Whitmoor Drive in Weldon Spring. Kyle Gaines, St. Charles County Ambulance District, is the guest speaker. Registration is $20 in advance; $25 after the Friday before the event and includes lunch. The Greater St. Charles Chamber of Commerce hosts its Lunch with Leaders program from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at Waters Edge Banquet Center [formerly St. Peters Golf Course], 200 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters.
