Ella’s Fearless Heroes Lemonade Stand will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday July 27 and noon-4 p.m. on Sunday July 28 at the St. Charles County Veterans Museum, 410 E. Elm Street in O’Fallon.
The mission of Ella’s Fearless Heroes Lemonade Stand is to help soldiers by raising funds for veterans groups such as the Missouri Military Memorial Foundation, Fallen Heroes Dream Ride and Missouri Patriot Guard. To date, the organization has raised over $30,000, 100 % of which goes to the charities.
Bonus activities at the museum on Saturday, July 27, will include music, World War II reenactors, demonstrations, celebrity guests, rock painting, hot dogs and chips, and more. Admission to the museum is free both days.
The goal is to raise funds to commission a new painting by Linda Wilmes titled “Tribute to Women in the Military.” Wilmes is an award-winning artist whose fine art includes several mediums. Her custom painting “Five Wars” was commissioned by museum founder Ralph Barrale and is on display in the museum.
