The majority of this year’s Saint Charles Riverfest activities, including its fireworks presentation, have been postponed until Aug. 30-31 due to flooding in Frontier Park.
The Fourth of July Parade, however, will step off at 10 a.m. on July 4 from Bales Park and travel to North Main Street.
The city of Weldon Spring hosts its annual Independence Day Celebration, its largest event of the year, on July Fourth from 4-9 p.m. at City Park.
Vendors featured at the event will include El Gringos Tacos, Wayno’s STL, Kona Shaved Ice, Taste of Mayberry Kettle Corn and Surge Coffee.
Bounce houses, a petting zoo, a balloon artist and a magician also are featured to delight younger guests. The night ends with a firework show at sundown. Admission and parking are free.
