The Spirit of St. Louis Air Show and STEM Expo will soar back to West County for another year from Sept. 7-8 at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport, 18260 Edison Ave. in Chesterfield. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will return both days.
The air show, presented by Boeing, is a two-day event featuring aircraft presentations alongside expo exhibits that highlight regional pursuits in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math [STEM] education and STEM career opportunities.
Aerial performers, including favorites from previous shows, will take to the skies for the 2019 event. Appearances by the RAF Red Arrows, the Aeroshell Acrobatics, an F-22 Raptor, the Sky Soldiers, a CAF Red Tail P-51C, an EA-18 Growler, A-26 “Special K,” Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress “Texas Raiders,” Skip Stewart and Matt Younkin in a Beech 18 are planned.
Also onsite will be multiple static display aircraft for viewing, including a Boeing-F-15C-Eagle, a CAF Red Tail P-51C, Sky Soldiers, a Supermarine Spitfire, Dakota Territory Air Museum, an, a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress “Texas Raiders,” the Boeing P-8 Poseidon, an A-26 “Special K” and more.

Parking is free and open to the public. Pets are not allowed, but service animals are permitted.
