Lindenwood students named to DECA’s top 10


The Collegiate DECA Competition Team at Lindenwood University participated in the International DECA Competition in Orlando and six of its 10 members were named finalists. Four team members were top 10 winners.

DECA is a 501[c][3] not-for-profit student organization with more than 215,000 members in all 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Canada, China, Germany, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain. It prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Representing Lindenwood at the international competition were:

• Taylor Hepler and Makayla Wenzel, Business-to-Business Marketing Finalists

• Bella Rainey and Hanna Smith, Advertising Campaign Finalists, Top 10

• Connor Hepler, Fashion Merchandising and Marketing Finalist, Top 10

• Carli Gogol, Marketing Management Finalist, Top 10
