Dardenne Prairie authorizes agreement for new commercial development

At its meeting on April 3, the Dardenne Prairie Board of Aldermen approved on an ordinance authorizing an escrow deposit agreement with Rondale Court Plaza, LLC, for site improvements at 1000 Rondale Court. This development culminates about a year of planning by the developer to build a mirror image to the strip mall on the western side of Rondale Court, facing Hwy. N.  This will provide new commercial space for three or four small commercial/office tenants.

The escrow ensures that the developer, not the city, will fund the costs of improvements to the 5.3-acre raw land parcel for stormwater management, new sidewalks, landscaping and re-vegetation, totaling $40,192.  Those improvements were specified as part of the city engineer’s approval letter.
