Bogey Hills Country Club reopened this summer remodeled and better than ever after a fire destroyed its clubhouse in 2017. The Country Club, which has been in existence since 1962, is a family affair with Dennis Walters; Angel Likens, general manager; and Dennis Walters Jr., head teaching professional; at the helm.

The groundbreaking of Clarendale of St. Peters, located at the southeast corner of Mexico Road and Dubray Drive, was attended by Governor Mike Parson, Missouri State Senator Bill Eigel, Representative Phil Christofanelli, Mayor Len Pagano and more. The newest addition is the eighth new Clarendale community among the combined partnership of Ryan Companies, Life Care Services and Harrison Street, all of which also attended the ground-breaking. The partnership now has over 1,500 senior living units open or under construction.

PEOPLE

Allison Carroll was recently hired as the Executive Administrator of Cedar Lake Cellars in Wright City. Carroll has more than 14 years of hospitality industry experience. Prior to joining Cedar Lake Cellars, Carroll served as a manager at a wedding venue in Georgia and previously as a food and beverage supervisor at a California hotel.  She earned her Associates in Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Ventura College in Ventura, California.  Carroll also earned her certified event and wedding planner certification from the QC School of Event and Wedding Planning.

The O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce hosts its Business Bites Seminar from noon-1 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce & Industries, 2145 Bryan Valley Commercial Drive. The monthly seminar series provides business owners and professionals a chance to hear from industry professionals. The event is free to attend, but registration is appreciated. EDC Business and Community Partners offers classes for small businesses, including “Empowering Women in Small Business Workshop”, from 8 a.m.-noon on Oct. 20 at the Economic Development Corporation of St. Charles County, 5988 Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
