Francis Howell offers free athletic passes to senior citizens

By: Ellen Lampe

Did you know the Francis Howell School District offers an athletics pass to district residents age 60 and older? It’s called The Golden Athletics Pass and it provides free admission to home athletic events [though passes cannot be used for state playoff competitions or district tournaments].

Jennifer Henry, Francis Howell communications manager, said the Golden Athletics Pass program is a way for Francis Howell to give back to its community.

“The pass is a thank you to our seniors,” Henry said. “We know there are many seniors who follow our teams, attend our events and support our students. We are happy to offer this opportunity to get them more involved in the district.”

The complimentary Golden Athletics Pass can be picked up during normal business hours from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the front desk of the Francis Howell School District Administration Building, 4545 Central School Road in St. Charles, by any Francis Howell School District resident age 60 and over. To receive a pass, the individual must present a valid photo ID with a home address.
