Melissa Reimer is the new St. Peters alderman for Ward 3.
Reimer, who was appointed at a special Board of Alderman meeting on Sept. 27, replaces Alderman Michael Shea who resigned before the Sept. 13 meeting, citing health reasons. She will serve until April 2019 when the seat is up for election to fill out the remaining year of Shea’s term.
Reimer and her family have been residents of the Spencer Creek subdivision for more than two years. In 2008, she became a licensed state real estate agent and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Missouri Association of Realtors and the St. Louis Association of Realtors.
She has an executive secretarial diploma from Sanford Brown College and has worked as an administrative assistant, secretary, receptionist and special events coordinator. She and her husband, William, have two school-age children and a son serving in the U.S. Air Force.
