40 Years of enriching lives in St. Charles County

Community Living, Inc. works to enrich the lives of people with disabilities so they can achieve their highest potential. Community Living does this by providing children and adults with services and programs to allow them to live, learn and work in the community and, in turn, they make our community inclusive, diverse and a better place to live.

2018 marks Community Living’s 40th anniversary of being a premier provider of programs and services for people with disabilities in St. Charles County. Today, Community Living serves over 1,000 individuals with disabilities and their families through six programs. Those programs are as follows:

Adult Recreation Services, which provides enrichment and leisure opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.

Social Opportunities and Recreation [SOAR], which provides year-round enrichment and social activities for teens with developmental disabilities enrolled in middle or high school.

Employment Services, which assists individuals with disabilities in identifying their skills and interests, matches them with employers, and provides job coaching and retention services for the life of the job.

Respite Services, which provides parents and caregivers a break from the day-to-day routine of caring for their family member with developmental disabilities.

Support Services for Adults, which offers outcome-based day services to adults with developmental disabilities, providing a productive and meaningful day.

Residential Services, which provides individualized support to people with developmental disabilities living in their own homes in the community.

Community Living is looking for compassionate individuals with a strong work ethic to join their team. Visit Community Living’s website or give them a call to learn about employment and volunteer opportunities.
