As of June 2018, the Lou Fusz Chrysler Dodge Ram FIAT campus in O’Fallon has officially added the Jeep brand to its growing automotive campus, which has been family owned and operated since 1952.
The standalone Jeep facility opened its doors on June 7 and adds its brand to the existing campus, creating a Lou Fusz Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram FIAT destination at 3480 State Hwy. K.
According to General Manager Mark Mercer, reception of the new campus addition has been “overwhelmingly positive.”
“This new location allows us to offer the Jeep brand in a dedicated location,” Mercer said. “Because it’s an exclusive brand, that staff is going to be more specifically educated, and because the staff is educated, it lends itself to better customer service.”
The new location features a selection of new, used and certified pre-owned inventory along with dedicated sales, financial staff and team leaders to help clients navigate the showroom floor.
According to Mercer, the new Jeep component offer services and amenities that are unique to the Lou Fusz O’Fallon location.
“We’ll be able to offer a lot of Jeep accessories, which will be unique to the location,” Mercer said, “We’ll be able to do things like lift kits, larger wheels and tires and other things.”
The new area also features an open garage where Jeep owners can view repairs and maintenance procedures.
The location is home to amenities like the Mopar Express Lane, providing fast service for maintenance and repair issues like oil and filter changes, tire rotation with brake inspection, tire wear and pressure checks, battery testing and replacement, multipoint checkups, air filter and wiper blades replacements and more.
On-site technicians are ASE-certified and professionally trained to perform services across multiple areas, including general automotive repair, preventative car maintenance, air conditioning and heating service, cooling system and radiator repair, synthetic motor oil replacement, oil filter replacement, brake repair, engine diagnostics, tune-ups and more.
Sales Manager Chad Willis said the company’s mechanics are trained within the different brands to make sure that all work is being done under the law. “The federal law is that these are brand specialists and they’re aware of the updates and recalls at the time,” Willis said. That includes reaching out to customers following recalls to schedule immediate service.
“We want to make sure the vehicles are being maintained properly because people are always busy and running back and forth by themselves or with their children,” Willis said. “For us, it’s safety first.”
Other special services available to customers include a 24-hour service center, service contract recommended dealers, free WiFi, shuttle services, authorized state inspections, drop-off service, Mopar accessories and performance parts, rental vehicle options and more.
“We want to make sure that when they come to us, the experience is comfortable, non-hassle and goes at their own pace,” Mercer said.
Lou Fusz Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram FIAT in O’Fallon also lists inventory online in the website’s virtual showrooms. Specific vehicle information can be requested, and shoppers also can complete tasks like setting up a test drive, scheduling a maintenance appointment or inquiring about financing options. Vehicle reviews for different models and brands also are readily available on the website.
“With our servicing options, they can schedule times online and set up a time,” Willis said. “It’s a crazy world, and we try to make sure we value customers’ time.”
While the addition of Jeep may be new, Mercer said the reason customers keep coming back to Lou Fusz dealerships – since 1952 – is customer dedication.
