The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers to assist with a spring Trail Work Day from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville.

Lunch will be provided to all who lend a helping hand.

Volunteers are asked to bring a pair of gloves, sturdy boots and safety glasses as well as a willingness to help park staff and members of Gateway Off-Road Cyclists [GORC] in building sustainable natural-surfaced trails. In addition to assisting with general trail maintenance, volunteers will help reroute a section of a popular trail in the park.

Interested organizations, individuals and groups can register by calling the parks department at (636) 949-7535 or visiting “Parks and Recreation” online at sccmo.org.
