Teens advance in Talent Competition

Local high school students have advanced to the next round of the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation’s eighth Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition and will compete in the semifinals on March 25 for a chance to perform on The Fabulous Fox Theater’s stage on April 28 and win scholarships and prizes.

The following students from four area schools have advanced to the semifinals:

• Fort Zumwalt North High: Robyne Sieh, sophomore, pianist

• Fort Zumwalt West: Shree Govani, senior, dancer [Bharatanatyam]; Lillianna Matthews, sophomore, band [punk rock]; Aaron Moore, sophomore, band [punk rock]; Allan Stacy, sophomore, band [punk rock]; Everett Remstedt, sophomore, band [punk rock]; and Jalen Thompson, sophomore, band [punk rock]

• Francis Howell Central: Jennifer Ferry, senior, singer [classical/opera] and Kelsey Carnes, sophomore, dancer [modern/contemporary]

• Timberland High: Emily Low, sophomore, dancer [pointe]
