St. Charles County area student athletes sign letters of intent for college sports

On Wednesday, Feb. 7, high school student-athletes in St. Charles County signed national letters of intent to play sports at the college level and continue their educations.

Fort Zumwalt West had the largest contingent of signees with 22 athletes moving forward with their sports and academic pursuits. Francis Howell also had a solid contingent of athletes with 13 signing letters. Francis Howell Central had 12 student-athletes sign letters.

“We are very proud to honor these 12 student-athletes that will continue their academic and athletic careers at the college level,” Francis Howell Central athletic director Scott Harris said. “These students all have tremendous work ethic and we are proud to honor and celebrate them on this significant milestone.”
