TropiClean, a global pet care product company headquartered in Wentzville, was one of two 2017 Excellence in Community Development honorees recently recognized by Progress 64 West, a nonprofit alliance of area citizens and business leaders that promotes development along the I-64 corridor from I-270 westward to I-70.

Founded in 1992, TropiClean has eight brands, hundreds of individual products and sales in 61 countries. Its products are made from naturally sourced, wholesome ingredients that are as safe for the environment as they are for people and their pets.

The company was honored at Progress 64 West’s 30th Annual Excellence in Community Development Awards banquet along with Seventh Wave Laboratories, a contract research organization based in Maryland Heights that provides integrated services for discovery and preclinical drug development for clients worldwide.
