Fort Zumwalt hosts December community projects

 

Fort Zumwalt School District schools are embodying the reason for the season by hosting a variety of fundraisers and drives for those in need.

West Middle School hosts a Toy Drive through Dec. 8, collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.

Mount Hope Elementary hosts The Giving Tree through Dec. 20, collecting items to help Mount Hope families in need celebrate the holidays.

North Middle School hosts The Giving Tree through Dec. 14, collecting items to help North Middle School families in need celebrate the holidays.

East High School hosts Six Days of Sharing through Dec. 8, collecting items for East High families in need as well as the Salvation Army. East High’s website has a list of items being collected each day.

Mid Rivers Elementary hosts a Clothing and Diaper Drive through Dec. 8 to benefit the Crisis Nursery. Specific needs include diapers, wipes, formula, long-sleeved shirts and pants sizes newborn-16.

Emge Elementary hosts an Adopt-A-Family campaign through Dec. 15, helping Saints Joachim and Ann Care Service create happy holidays for local families.

Rock Creek Elementary hosts a  Warm and Cozy Drive through Dec. 18, collecting new and gently used coats for all sizes [children, men and women], gloves, mittens and hats.
