St. Charles County Symphony Halloween Concert is from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre, 1 St. Peters Centre Blvd. Bring the entire family and be sure to dress up; kids in costume get to parade around and receive a special treat.

Haunted Park Hunt is from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 at Dames Park, 387 Dames Park Drive in O’Fallon. The haunted hunt is frightfully good, after-dark fun for adults ages 21 and up. Bring a flashlight. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams who earn the most points. The cost per couple is $30 for O’Fallon residents and $36 for non-residents. A Halloween Carnival is from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at HES Operations Building, 135 Ecology Drive in St. Peters. Enjoy hayrides, games, crafts, dinner and more. Hayride Hoedown is on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Broemmelsiek Park, 1795 Hwy. DD in Defiance. It includes a 45-minute wagon ride through the park, light dinner, s’mores and a performance from Babaloo. Spirits of the Past is from 6-10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 at The Historic Daniel Boone Home, 1868 Hwy. F near Defiance. Enjoy hot apple cider, listen to tales and stories from the 1800s and learn why townspeople were so superstitious. Admission is $6 in advance, $10 at the door. St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre’s next day trip, “Touchstones to Our Past,” is from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 starting at St. Peters City Hall, 1 St. Peters Centre Blvd. Participants spend the day visiting some of St. Louis’ most famous graveyards and have lunch at Grbic restaurant. Halloween Party in the Park is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 at Founders Park, 7 Freymuth Road in Lake Saint Louis. The free, annual, family-friendly event includes a hayride, inflatables, DJ, balloon sculptures, pony rides and more. Kids in costume will be entered into a raffle. Halloween Spooktacular on Ice is from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 at St. Peters Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Road. The evening includes ice skating, games, prizes, candy and a costume contest. Night of Fright Haunted House is open from dusk to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 at Youth Activity Park, 7801  Hwy. N in Dardenne Prairie. Nestled inside the recreation facility is a scary place that takes guests through a maze of haunted rooms filled with frightful scenes designed to entertain children and adults. The Legends & Lanterns festival runs from Friday, Oct. 27-Sunday, Oct. 29 on Historic Main Street in St. Charles. The festival offers fun for guests of all ages, featuring scarecrows, hayrides through history and ghostly guests with historic Main Street as its backdrop. Monsters on the Meadows is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Clock Tower Plaza of The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis, on Meadows Circle Drive. There will be pumpkin painting, trick or treating, face painting, live Bluegrass music, vehicles on display from the Lake St. Louis Fire and Police Department and food trucks. The Misfit Toys Autism Awareness Group will bring 30 hot rod cars and host a “Trunk or Treat.”
