Every 66 seconds, someone in the U.S. develops Alzheimer’s disease. The already vast number of individuals living with the disease is expected to more than triple – from 5 million today to more than 16 million by 2050. But on Saturday, Sept. 30, area residents can walk to end Alzheimer’s.
The annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s begins with registration at 8 a.m. on the campus of St. Charles Community College, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville. Individuals and teams are welcome to participate in the 1- or 3-mile walk.
