Motorists who use Interstate 64 to get into St. Charles may want to allow themselves some extra time for the next two weeks.
Crews will close the right lane on westbound Interstate 64 from just past the Boone Bridge to Route 94 starting on Monday, July 10 at 7 a.m. The around-the-clock lane closure is scheduled to be picked up by Friday, July 14 at 3:30 p.m. The lane will remain open for the weekend and then will close again from Monday, July 17 at 7 a.m. until Friday, July 21 at 3:30 p.m.
The lane closure is part of warranty work required under the I-64 Daniel Boone Bridge project.
